Sam Cave launches his new album of contemporary music for guitar. Refracted Resonance is an exploration of the resonance of the guitar and the harmonic series. Expect flamenco inspired sprectralism from Tristan Murail’s Tellur, microtonal virtuosity and resonant beauty in George Holloway’s Guitar Sonatas, Latin inspired rhythms in Christopher Fox’s Chile and space-age ‘sound plasma’ in Radulescu’s epic Subconcious Wave. There will also be music by Wandelweiser founder Antoine Beuger and the performer himself.
