
Chris Hill is an improviser and sound artist based in London. A regular player with the London Improvisers Orchestra and Eddie Prevost’s London Improvisation Workshop he also promotes experimental and improvised music events and composes under the name of DiscountGnostic. A regular collaborator with many on the London scene; most notably Matt Atkins, Stephan Barrett, Ed Shipsey as Egg & Crisp, Phil Morton’s 50:50 Project and more recently with LUFT along with James O’Sullivan and Alan Newcombe. His work can be found on the MRM, Scatter, Moonside, Grisaille, Astral Sewage and Chocolate Monk labels and reflects his ongoing interest in the evocation of expansive and dense sonic landscapes often with a hauntological or occult bent.
Matt Atkins is an improvising percussionist and sound/visual artist who uses electronics, objects and tape loops in his work which explores elements of minimalism texture. He has released music on labels such as Falt, Rusted Tone Recordings, Invisible City, Whitelab Recs, tsss tapes, Coherent States, Steep Gloss, Flaming Pines, Wabi Sabi Tapes, Dasa Tapes and Chocolate Monk, among others. Since 2006 he has run the label MRM recordings. In 2020 he began curating and presenting a show for CAMP radio called Auricular Shelter.

Zheng Hao
Born in Wuhan; based in London. Mainly uses electronics or electro-acoustic instruments for solo and group improvisation – currently focused on exploring the amorphous in different sound spaces.

John Macedo
John Macedo is an artist and performer from London. His work explores connections, relationships, interdependence and revealing the hidden potential in all sounds, environments and technologies, often in intimate, immersive and intuitive ways.
He performs live solo and has collaborated with a wide variety of musicians and artists including Phil Julian, Graham Dunning, Tom White, Yoni Silver, John Butcher, Cath Roberts, John Edwards, Michael Speers, Steve Noble, Sue Lynch, Lee Fraser and Adam Bohman, to name a few. He has had work released by The Tapeworm, Infant Tree, Hideous Replica, Sound Holes, and Beartown Records as well as releasing small run and object editions on his own label, The Black Plume Editions. He has performed and presented work in the UK, Europe and US and has led workshops and produced collaborative, educational and community-based projects for Whitechapel Gallery, South London Gallery, Artsadmin and New Contemporaries.
