Zhuyang Liu
Guzheng musician, trans-media artist, producer who plays nylon- and steel-strung Guzheng, multi-tone Guzheng, and other plucked string instruments, including Xuan Qin, Duxian Qin, Koto, and more. Their multidisciplinary work spans sound, writing, spoken word, and cross-media performances.
With a background rooted in diverse cultural and artistic fields, Zhuyang explores and fuses ethnic and contemporary soundscapes. They utilize found materials to create unconventional instruments and electronics, improvising with complex, fictional rhythms that evoke a broad, immersive sonic landscape. As a researcher, Zhuyang mainly focus on sound politics, forensics in sound ecology, musicology and Instruments. Writing includes ‘The Sonic Arsenal of Alternative Instruments: An ‘Unconventional Warfare’ in Sound, Noise, and Conflict.’
Saori Miraku
Saori Miraku is a pianist-composer, improviser and performer based in London. Her music is an invitation to transcend, to reach beyond the everyday world and into a place of stories, memories, imagination, dreams and transformation. When she performs she expresses her personal experience of being, but in doing so invites her audience to follow her on a journey of their own. On this journey, it is her wish that they visit their own heart space, where they can experience the beauty and magic of conversing with their true selves.
Saori released her piano solo album “Many Times on Earth” in December 2023.
Zheng Hao
Born in Wuhan; based in London. Mainly uses electronics or electro-acoustic instruments for solo and group improvisation – currently focused on exploring the amorphous in different sound spaces, and the dynamic balance between unpredictabilities and control.

Chris Hill
Chris Hill. is an improvising musician and sound artist. Based in London he regularly plays with the London Improvisers Orchestra, Eddie Prévost’s workshop group and collaborates and records with Ed Shipsey as Egg & Crisp, Matt Atkins, the trio LUFT with James O’Sullivan and Alan Newcombe as LUFT, and co-ordinates Project 50:50 with Phil Morton.
