Music : Peter Nagle & Emily Shapiro + Georgia Turner. Sunday 20th July 15:30

Peter Nagle is a composer-performer, sonic artist, educator and researcher based in London. His creative research interests revolve around identities and approaches in transdisciplinary collaboration, and ambiguity and uncertainty as aesthetic strategies. He completed a PhD in Creative Practice at Trinity Laban in 2024 and now spends a lot of time telling people he’s not that kind of doctor.

Emily Suzanne Shapiro is a bass clarinetist and clarinetist dedicated to exploring and creating new music. Originally from Canada, Emily pursued her studies at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver Academy of Music, Concordia University and the Domaine Forget academy. Emily has a special love for the sound and scope of bass instruments and constantly pushes the limits of what she can do on bass clarinet.

Georgia Turner is a guitarist, composer and artist. Through her “subtly intense” original music she tells stories drawn from a rich inner-world of folklore and mythology. She also collaborates in a wide range of bands and ensembles, playing alt-rock, folk, contemporary and improvised music. Georgia is an alumnus of Aldeburgh Young Musicians and gained her undergraduate degree in composition from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.
