Pink Bird Live are proud to present Alex Tyrrell and Love In Dust for ‘Music in surround’. These two artists create and present sound in the most idiosyncratic, inventive way possible:
Alex Tyrrell is a sound artist from London, who works with surround sound and immersive ambience, geared towards propagating a mediative state. Previous performances have included blindfolding the audience; allowing them to become fully immersed, relying solely on their primary, primitive senses.
Love In Dust makes electronic music from sounds found in daily life and internet trawls. His work explores changing textures and unstable pitches & rhythms, alongside simple guitar melodies. For this performance, he presents a series of short sketches in surround sound with live fretless guitar.
