Babble&Squeak is an irregular congregation of improvising musicians and sound artists. Featuring many voices familiar to the world of British and European improvisation it acts as a forum for new artists to engage with the ongoing discourse of experimental music and performance.
Irreverent and engaging, Babble&Squeak seeks to provide a platform and meeting place for all who believe in the process of music making as an end in itself.
Babble&Squeak welcomes experimentation and unbounded exploration.
Babble&Squeak players are practitioners in their own right and many are regulars at John Russell’s Mopomoso Group and Eddie Prevost’s Workshop.
The Mopomoso Group meets every Thursday at the Troy Club, 22 Hanway Street, London W1 between 7pm and 9pm.
Eddie Prevost’s London Improvisation Workshop gathers at the Welsh Chapel, 90 Southwark Bridge Road, London SE1, on Fridays between 7.45pm and 10pm.
