DISCON FESTIVAL : Curated by Mark Wastell and Martin Archer. Saturday 16th November 15:00 – 22:00

DISCON FESTIVAL, a joint presentation from Martin Archer‘s Discus Music and Mark Wastell’s Confront Recordings, two independent British labels which between them have released over 200 recordings. Over TWO HUNDRED ….. just think about that for a moment!!. Mark and Martin have known each other for twenty years and both launched their labels in the middle nineties, Discus in ’94 and Confront in ’96. Two concerts will take place, one in London, the other in Sheffield, showcasing groups and musicians that have releases on each imprint. Hundred Years Gallery will host the London concert on November 16th followed a couple of weeks later in Sheffield at The Holt Café on the 30th November.
