duck-rabbit will be launching the fourth installment in their Scattered Voices series with a live performance using sounds collected at Whissendine Windmill. The music of Scattered Voices is an improvised form of musique concrete, intimately connected to specific locations across the UK. The performance will feature unique electronic instruments, shaped over the course of the series. duck-rabbit are Joe Wright, Tom Taylor and James Opstad.
Lawrence Casserley (live processing) and Martin Hackett (analogue synthesizer), renowned practitioners from opposite poles of electronic improvisation present a rare duo performance.
