Visceral is the third audiovisual solo exhibition by Richard Bolhuis in Hundred Years Gallery.
Richard’s interdisciplinary installations, in which various disciplines converge, are constantly in motion. Mystery and intuition are the primary elements in his practice.
Many of his immersive installations arise in divergent areas. Soundscapes in the open air, projections on trees and drawings on mounds and buildings become one with the surroundings. Drawings out in the open air are redrawn by natural elements. Richard’s meditative film loops are rooted in the northern tranquil countryside and barren landscapes of the Netherlands.
Visceral consists of a new selection of Polaroids and an audiovisual installation in the gallery’s basement.
