endolymph is the fluid contained in the membranous labyrinth of the inner ear, fluid waves in the endolymph of the cochlear duct stimulate the receptor cells, which in turn translate their movement into nerve impulses that the brain perceives as sound.

endolymph is a low frequency free improv trio for double bass, euphonium and sine waves consisting of electronic sound artist Andrew Page (raxil4) and members of the free jazz ensemble the Apocalypse Jazz Unit: Hywel Jones (euphonium) and Jordan Muscatello (double bass).
Hywel Jones
Originally hailing from Swansea, South Wales, Hywel studied music at Goldsmiths University where he graduated in 2013.
He has played Trombone and Euphonium in a wide range of styles and with ensembles including free improvisation group The Apocalypse Jazz Unit and rapper WONDRWOMN. He is also interested in composition and is currently working on his own project with various friends/musical collaborators. Since graduating, he has mostly worked as a music teacher (teaching everything from babies and toddler music classes through to adult learners) and currently teaches Brass in West London.
Jordan Muscatello
Jordan Muscatello is a London-based bassist predominantly active in improvised music. A frequent attendee of Eddie Prévost’s weekly workshop, he has performed with many members of London’s community of improvising musicians and is a regular member of Rick Jensen’s Apocalypse Jazz Unit.
Andrew Page (raxil4)
raxil4 is multi disciplinary sound artist Andrew Page, specialising in analogue electronic dronescapes, acoustic audio phenomenon and installation. He has performed live all over Europe, many of his performances have been in non traditional venues, often choosing to play spaces with character and interesting acoustic qualities, such as caves, churches, crypts, prison cells, psychiatric hospitals & water towers. He has also performed live and installed durational works in galleries such as Tate Modern (London), The Barbican (London), The Arnolfini (Bristol), M-HKA (Antwerp), Sonnestube (Lugano), Soundfjord (London) & GV Art (London). Some of his generative pieces have been discussed in classes on composition within the Royal Academy of Music. The first 400 releases of his back catalogue now reside within the British Library Sound Archive.
Poppy Liqueur
Poppy Liqueur is a London-based performer with a background in cabaret, fire and sideshow. She has written many pieces of poetry and short stories which she also performs, often to musical accompaniment. Themes often include death and psychosis, but are performed in the style of dark comedy.
