Martin Hackett : Korg MS10 | Késia Decoté : piano & toy piano | Charlotte Keeffe: trumpet & Flugel horn

Késia Decoté is a pianist from Vitoria, Brazil, where she was a co-founder and member of the avant-garde Brazilian Music group PianOrquestra – 10 hands and a prepared piano. She has been developing a rich and diverse career, as piano soloist, chamber music instrumentalist, contemporary music interpreter and as a musician in theatre productions. As a soloist, Késia has performed solo piano recitals to great acclaim in the UK, Brazil, Portugal, Canadá and Norway. She has also been developing an exciting career as an improviser, being member of Oxford Improvisers, and performing and recording in duo with cellist Bruno Guastalla.

Martin Hackett is a member of Oxford Improvisers and the Muzzix collective in Lille, France. He has been playing improvised music of one sort or another for as long as he can remember, for the past thirty years largely devoted to an obsessive exploration of the Korg MS10 synthesiser.

Charlotte Keeffe’s unique approach to the trumpet and flugelhorn, and passion for jazz, experimental and freely improvised music sees her becoming one of the most in-demand musicians currently in London. Charlotte leads her own quartet, and is also a member of LIO, Alex Ward’s Item 4, and 10 ensembles, as well as many other constellations.
