Sandro Mussida is a cellist, pianist & keyboardist, improviser and composer, working with electronics and acoustic music. He studied composition, electronics and cello in Milan. He founded and played in the avant garde trio Hurla Janus with the classical/ electric guitarist Alessandra Novaga and the multi instrumentalist/ orchestral percussionist (Teatro Alla Scala) Elio Marchesini, performing written music, both historical (Scelsi, Mosconi, Cage, Feldman, Lucier) and original (his own and by other new composers from the Italian scene), involving improvisation and live electronics.

Olivia Salvadori (voice). Born in Florence, she studied vocal technique and opera singing at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole and at the Conservatorio A.Boito in Parma. She performs widely as an operatic soloist as well as an avant garde artist, recording and appearing live in unique electronic and chamber music sets across Europe and U.S.A.

Alessandra Novaga plays classical and electric guitar. She is mostly involved in new and experimental music and improvisation. Has been working, among others, with composers such as Paula Matthusen, Sandro Mussida,Travis Just, and Vittorio Zago, and guitarists Elliott Sharp, Lee Ranaldo. Alessandra performs widely in Europe and in the United States, often in New York’s downtown scene. Past performances include the Transient Series, the Incubator Arts Project – Ontological Hysteric Theater, Zebulon, Silent Barn and Spectrum. In March 2013 she was the first guitarist to perform the entire cycle of John Zorn’s Book of Heads in Italy. She is also a cofounder of the experimental music trio Hurla Janus. Her latest CD for solo electric guitar, La Chambre Des Jeux Sonores, is published by Setola di Maiale. In 2015 she has been invited by Elliott Sharp to compose and record one piece for on the Vol. Three of the cd series I Never Meta Guitar. Her realizations of textual and graphic scores often include a markedly performative component, departing from conventional ways of interacting with the instrument.
