Tino, Asad, La Monte and Me.

On January 31st at Hundred Years Gallery Rita Says presents an evening of live performance and music documentary combined with a short talk on the influence of U.S. composer La Monte Young and the experience that working with contemporary artists Tino Sehgal and Asad Raza has had on her practise.

Two¬†films will be shown: Roland Denning‘s recent documentary on Rita Says and The Jerico Orchestra’s 2019 performance of La Monte Young’s Composition 1960 Number 7, and in the second half a secret underground documentary on the Berlin Electronic Music scene.

Rita Says will also present a new performance –¬†Legion, an aesthetic demonstration of collective action.
