Currently studying saxophone at Guildhall together, Murphy Robertson and Nicholas Hann have been working together since they met four years ago, from chamber performances to large ensembles.
The duo have worked together in events such as the EFG London Jazz Festival presenting their take on classic jazz standards. Realising their artistic compatibility and shared love for the same artists, they have recently collaborated for this project to share their concept and response to the music they’ve absorbed and that has influenced them in their career so far.

For this concert, they will share their arrangements for saxophone and piano of a wide variety of tunes, ranging from Ellington to Bowie and Joni Mitchell.
