Soundling Festival : Soundling Social for International Women’s Day. Saturday 10th March 19:00

Megan Steinberg (composer & Soundling curator) puts together an evening of abstract improv turntable performance plus discussion, workshop and networking (with drinks) for emerging women/non-binary artists.

Soundling Festival is a four day happening being held in London for International Women’s Day, on 8 – 11 March. Founded by composer Megan Steinberg to celebrate new music created by non-cis-male artists as a response to growing social concerns over equality in the arts and worldwide. Soundling showcases the works of London’s leading musicians and promising artists, and aims to inspire others to create and influence change.

Born out of both ‘classical’ and ‘experimental’ backgrounds, artists come from each discipline. The Soundling Manifesta is: the celebration of all art and creativity expressed by women/non-cis-males. Exploration, chance, intimacy and originality inspired by feminism are the driving forces behind Soundling Festival.
