James Worse & Worser + Ed Lucas / Daniel Kordik / James Malone. Sunday 11th September 3:30-6:30pm

worseAn afternoon  of improvisation and performance curated by Mark Browne‘s Aylesbury-based Structured Disasters label, where Tristan Tzara meets Mallarme as a chance operation. The Wake comes to life. The dead ain’t dead. The Lusts roll and all is in Earshot…

James Worse and Worser

Master of the surrealist spoken word Mr. Worse is writing an on-going epic, entitled ‘Flark of the Dandibus’. He hopes never to publish it, but instead for it to exist only in performance – like they used to do by the fire in longhouses, in the good old days. Mr. Worse also performs with experimental sound improvisation collective Hand of Stabs. For this concert he will be accompanied by Worser.

Worser are the Structured Disasters collective of: Mark Browne (saxophone and collected objects), Spinecakes (electronics), Dan Gregory (junk), Liam Jackman (junk)

Ed Lucas (trombone)/Daniel Kordik (synth) /James Malome (guitar).

Edward Lucas and Daniel Kordik  run the Earshots Recordings label and concert series, performing regularly as a duo. The prolific London guitarist James Malone joins Edward and Daniel completing the trio.

Structured Disasters was formed in 2015 by Dan Gregory, Mark Browne, Mark Gerrard and Liam Jackman in order to bring interesting music to Aylesbury and profile Aylesbury musicians in London and Oxford. To date they have arranged concerts for Adam Bohman, David Toop, Lee Riley, Sly & The Family Drone, Black Spring, Neil Campbell, Turnstone, Justice Yeldham, Phantom Chips, Black Ju Ju, Lust Rollers, and Glockenspiel. Structured Disasters also produce limited edition cassettes.
