A poetry event exploring themes of worlding and unworlding, whose eponymous title is a quote from Donna Harraway’s ‘Staying with the Trouble: Making Kin in the Chthulucene’, in which she explores language as a way of navigating a route out of environmental and political crisis. The event will give space for individual interpretations of a future trajectory which perhaps culminates in shared propositions for reconstruction.
We welcome everyone, regardless of prior experience with poetry. If you’ve never been to a poetry reading, come along to your first one!
If you’re interested in reading at the event, please send an email to vwalt006@gold.ac.uk or bpetk001@gold.ac.uk by 1 November.
