The Geneva based duo continue their exploration of simplification and rational rituality and present work tied together by strict sonic or structural principles – Highly detailed textures, repeated gestures, soft tones, febrile pulses and acoustic hyper-sensibility.
At Hundred Years Gallery they will present the two electro-acoustic dub deconstructions that form their most recent album Great Stone / Blood Dunza

John Macedo & Michael Speers

John Macedo is a sound artist from London. He has incorporated everything from acoustic instruments and environmental sound to analogue and computer synthesis, into compositions, live performances and sound installations. He has a pluralistic approach to composition which focuses on movement, subtle detail, and capturing unrepeatable events while revealing the creative/musical potential in all sounds. He performs solo and in collaboration with other musicians on modular synthesiser, custom-made software and electronics.

Michael Speers is a percussionist/sound artist currently based in London. Using feedback as the basis for most of his practice, he performs live using amplified percussion, tape loops and no-input mixer.
