Forsaking many existing modes of performance and improvised sound articulation, Egg&Crisp draws you into a world in which absurdism and delinquent sonics cohabit. A music of sorts that many find intensely affecting, occasionally annoying, or simply just a bit odd.

This occasional duo, and faction of Morphogenesis, have been playing together since 1991. In recent years the duo meetings have been less frequent, but have included small tours in both the US and in Europe. This is a one off London date.
Mirei Ya : trumpet, voice, movement. Mirei is an experienced improvising dancer and an artist who explores memory within body and the movement. She has studied fine art, trained Butoh and BodyWeather.
Regan Bowering : Regan Bowering is a percussionist, improviser and sound artist based in London. Her solo work explores various combinations of objects and materials, drums and percussion, amps, speakers, and feedback. Collaborative projects include BLAKE/ SONG/ BOWERING, a trio with Li Song and Conal Blake who experiment with site-specific performance/ improvisations using snare drums, speakers, and found materials. She’s currently doing a practice-based PhD in Music at Goldsmiths, Uni of London.
