Alec has been performing on London’s Jazz, Free Jazz/Experimental Scenes for a few years. His own groups have included Olie Brice, Liam Noble, Dan Nichols, Mark Sanders, Tom Wheatley, Andrew Lisle, Tim Giles and Martin Hathaway. Alec plays regularly with the London City Big Band and has performed with the London Jazz Orchestra featuring Stan Sulzmann. Alec has performed and recorded in New York with “Beaker”, his Electro Acoustic collaboration with composer and electronic musician Tyler Gilmore. He has also performed in Europe with Savvas Savva, Andria Nicodemou and Paniel Pencer.Andria is a multifaceted percussionist, improviser/composer from Cyprus, specializing mainly on vibraphone. She has worked in diverse interdisciplinary art projects, with multi-mediaartists, dancers, actors, and visual artists in many festivals and theaters in Europe and USA. With her unique ‘voice’ she has established herself as an innovative artist and an important emerging musician in the avant-garde, experimental, improvised and free jazz music idioms, performing with musicians such as Anthony Coleman, Joe Morris, Ikue Morri, Tayler Ho Bynum, Ab Baars, Marty Ehrlich, Anne La Berge among others.Mark is one of the best drummers in Europe and regularly performs farther afield. He has worked with many renowned musicians including Derek Bailey, Henry Grimes, Roswell Rudd, Okkyung Lee, Barry Guy, Tim Berne, Otomo Yoshihide, Jah Wobble, Harold Budd, Sidsel Endresen, in duo and quartets with Wadada Leo Smith and trios with Charles Gayle with Sirone and William Parker. Mark and John Edwards have a long history as a rhythm section with many groups including Evan Parker Trio, Trevor Watts Quartet, with electro acoustic composer John Wall, `Foils` with Frank Paul Schubert and Matthius Muller, Veryan Weston, John Tilbury, Agusti Fernandez and Mathew Shipp.
