Raw Tonk Records presents an evening with two explosive duos:
Mark Holub and Colin Webster have been playing as a drums and sax duo since 2005. They have toured extensively and released 3 albums. Their latest album ‘Viscera’ on US based label New Atlantis has been picking up rave reviews across the US and Europe. All About Jazz declared “this is simply a great album by gifted and intuitive players.”
Andrew Lisle is a drummer based in London. He is a member of (punk-improv-anti-funk advocates) Shatner’s Bassoon as well as collaborating with Alex Ward, Colin Webster, Seymour Wright, John Dikeman and John Edwards.
Tom Wheatley is a double bass and electric bass player based in, and native to, London. He plays to open the bass – sonically and physically, musically and surgically; un(-)sound praxis.
