Weisslich VIII:  The latest installment of experimental music and performance art which brings together an international cast of artists hailing from New Zealand, Latvia, Switzerland, Australia, the UK and the US. Featured acts include a collaboration between composer Antonia Barnett-McIntosh and flautist Ilze Ikse, new pieces by Swiss sound artist, performer and composer Lilian Beidler, composers Charlie Sdraulig, Ben Zucker, and Louis d’Heudieres, and a pairing of pieces from Object Collection’s Kara Feely that literally redefine the boundaries of space.

Expect Breathlessness, Guided Sound Installations, Map-Making, Bourgeois Music-Listening, Sensor-Augmented Cymbals, and Phonetic Mouth-Shaping, from:

Weisslich was started in 2014 and is presently run by Michael Baldwin, Louis d’Heudieres, and David Pocknee

Weisslich is an artist-run organisation that brings together work happening in and around experimental music and performance art eclectically and unpredictably mixing together people and work from different artistic disciplines alongside related historical works.
